Three siblings were found at a Mcdonald’s restaurant in the summer of 2020. TCGR was unsure if they were dumped or feral, but all 3 were trapped, and taken to a local clinic, to scan for a microchip. When none was found, they were sterilized , ear tipped, and returned to the McDonald’s area, since they appeared undersocialized, semi-feral.
However, overtime, one little tuxedo became used to humans, and overtime, grew to trust them. Named Pepsi by his feeders, he allowed them to pet him, and gently pick him up. Tentative plans were made to re-trap and further socialize Pepsi, for adoption.
Plans changed one evening, when a feeder came nose to nose with a coyote! The next night traps were set to catch the siblings, but only Pepsi was caught. Trappers went back several times to look for his siblings, but they had disappeared. Pepsi was sent to a foster home to be completely socialized.
Pepsi found his fur-ever home with Pam in Richmond on April 17th, 2021. Now named Ollie, he love...
Say hello to Chichi and Coco, in their purr-felt home!
TGCR received a call from a community member, who had a family of 5 living in his backyard. This neighbor was concerned for their well being, as he was selling the house to move out of state. A trapper was sent out and 2 kittens were caught immediately. The trapper went back very early the next day, to catch mom and the remaining 2 siblings, but they were not there. After several days of leaving food and traps, mom and her kids never came back.
Unfortunately, the new homeowners were not interested in keeping an eye out for the rest of the family.
Given the name Jasper and Samatha, the bonded pair was sent to a foster home, for socialization and adoption.
Now named Chichi and Coco, these 2 fur babies are happy in their fur-ever home. Special thanks to Mindy for adopting from TCGR. They are sure happy with you! To find your own amazing fur babies, please check out our website to donate, foster, foster-to-adop...
